DESCRIPTION :
Fireflush is a mobile game where the player controls a firefighting aircraft, battling forest fires. The goal is to extinguish all fires in each level. You do this by dropping water-bombs, which can be resupplied by diving into lakes and oceans.
PROCESS :
The idea came up after a brief brainstorm with programmer Joris van Leeuwen. We proposed the idea, and received two weeks to develop a demo. I initially focused on creating a good color palette before working on 2D/3D assets. We kept these to a minimum so we could prototype fast. As soon we were happy, Joris developed a simple level editor and i started creating content. The demo received way more acclaim than we expected.
This game has been eventually released under de new title Rescue Wings.
